Fire and Snow(Artist: Mandyleigh Storm, Perth, Australia)

Calming, intricate and peaceful melodies is what immediately comes to mind when I first played this disc by Mandyleigh Storm. The ten tracks from the album title, "Fire & Snow," have a real late sixties/ early seventies feel. Mandyleigh writes from the heart and I enjoyed reading through the lyrics and looking at the album jacket pics. Of course we at Rockin' Moms loved looking at the cute photos of her children Zyah and Damaris.

"Go with it" and especially, "Keep the Silence," have such a groovy disco beat to them, I could hardly help but getting out of my chair and start boogying. Also, what a vocal range, she can really hit those high notes! I really felt the album took me on a journey and the songs flowed nicely from one to the next. Look forward to hearing more or seeing her live one day.

Manyleigh Storm is originally from Southampton and the album was recorded at Dean St. Studios in London. She now resides with her family and 3 children in Perth, Australia.
