Founders Note
Wow! April flew by! I am glad my twins had a good 9 month check up they are both weighing in at 18.1 and 18.2 pounds each. No wonder why my arm hurts when I carry them both around:) I am much looking forward to getting back on stage with my band for the May 10th Mother's Day Celebration. It has been over a year since I played with them. I have been back rehearsing and I forgot how much music invigorates me! My older two children are doing great too. My daughter just turned 10! I talked about this in the Rockin' Moms Podcast-Radio show this month. Ten years ago I became a Mother and it changed my world is the best way possible. Follow the world of a Rockin' Mom on Twitter .

This contest is open to both professional and amateur songwriters. Entrants may enter as many songs as they wish but each entry must have a lyric sheet. The only requirement is that the song reflects a theme of motherhood to the songwriter and the song must be original. No, you don't have to be a member of Rockin' Moms, a mom, a women, dad to submit, or even use the word "mom" in the song, just express the theme in your song.
Winners will be chosen by a panel of Music Industry professionals and Rockin' Moms staff who will judge entries on originality, melody, composition and lyrics.
